This listing is for a set of 11 True Bull-nosed stair treads made with Sunrise Misty Water 100% New Zealand Wool True Bullnose® Padded Stair Treads. Each tread is 35″ wide X 10″ deep.

This is a clearance box set- these treads are in new condition. If you’re looking for a great deal on quality carpet look no further!

These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 35″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – do not wrap the tape measure around because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.

The style is called Sunrise Misty Water and it is made by J Mish with Ecco Tex Blend New Zealand Wool. J Mish puts it best: “Sunrise is a charming style, featuring an inventive color palette with a rich high-low loop texture. Each coloration features two yarn colors; one creates a bulky vertical rib, the other is tufted with dashes of a contrasting color between the lines, creating a textured grid. The color palette is made up of light, true colors, combining a palette of hues – pink, lemon yellow, soft aloe, lavender, baby blue, sage and taupe in combination with ivory. One additional color, Rainbow, combines all of the hues in an end-on-end stripe.”

An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation. We sell treads individually (per step) so you can order the correct number of treads to match the number of steps you have in your staircase.

Here is how we do it:

We start with this awesome Wool blend carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the borders, permanently attach our True Bullnose® rigid edge, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. (Padding is now recommended by every carpet manufacturer. It improves the comfort, performance and life of the carpet. We use a 100% post-consumer padding and the best part is we include it at no additional cost!)

As shown in the pictures, the True Bullnose® stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so that when installed it will stay nicely wrapped around your stair tread. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that your tread will stay wrapped around the end of your stair tread. Not these. True Bullnose® treads have a pressure sensitive material that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
