This listing is for a set of 13 True Bullnose® stair treads made with Only Natural II Skylight. Each tread is 24″ Wide and 10″ Deep.

These treads are made using Anderson Tuftex Only Natural/Only Natural II carpeting. This beautiful loop pile carpet is woven using high performance nylon. The two tones of these styles create a herringbone pattern which lends a classic yet whimsical look to any staircase.

These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 24″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – no need to wrap the tape measure around, because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.

An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation.

Here is how we do it:

We start with this awesome Wool blend carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the borders, permanently attach our True Bullnose® rigid edge, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. (Padding is now recommended by every carpet manufacturer. It improves the comfort, performance and life of the carpet. We use a 100% post-consumer padding and the best part is we include it at no additional cost!)

As shown in the pictures, the True Bullnose® stair treads are permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so when installed, it will stay nicely wrapped around your stairs. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that the treads stay wrapped around the end of the stairs. Not these. True Bullnose® treads have a pressure sensitive material that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
