This listing is for a set of 5 True Bull-nosed stair treads made with Sunburst Melody. Each tread is 27″ Wide and 10″ Deep.

These are clearance treads. If you have been looking for a great deal on treads now is the time! We are cleaning out our carpets to make room for new styles to be added!

These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 27″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – do not wrap the tape measure around because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.

The style is called Sunburst and it is made by J Mish with 100% New Zealand Wool. J Mish puts it best: “Sunburst is a small scale, three-color pattern with a rich high-low texture. Each carpet color mixes light, clear colors, creating a refreshing palette. Colors range from a simple beige/tan neutral and sweet pink/ green and clear blue/ yellow combos to soft warm and cool green combinations. Sunburst coordinates in color with Sunrise, a ribbed two-color texture and Sunsation, a large-scale plaid.”

Here is how we do it:

We start with this awesome 100% New Zealand Wool carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the boarders and then permanently attach our True Bullnose ® rigid edge.

As shown in our Shop, the True Bullnose ® stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so that when installed it will stay nicely wrapped around your stair tread. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that your tread will stay wrapped around the end of your stair tread. Not these. True Bullnose ® treads have a pressure sensitive material that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
