Description
Part of our premium wool collection of stair treads! An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation.
We make the treads in our standard sizes of 24″ wide, 27″ wide, 31″ wide and 35″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ deep stair with a 1″ thick tread. But if you need a custom size, just let us know, we can do that, too! We sell our treads individually so that you can order the correct number to match your stairs. We also custom make matching landings (with the option of a built in bullnose on one edge at no additional cost) and runners, just let us know what you need!
The style is called Sunburst and the color in this listing is called Melody. It is made by J Mish with 100% New Zealand Wool. J Mish puts it best: “Sunburst is a small scale, three-color pattern with a rich high-low texture. Each carpet color mixes light, clear colors, creating a refreshing palette. Colors range from a simple beige/tan neutral and sweet pink/ green and clear blue/ yellow combos to soft warm and cool green combinations. Sunburst coordinates in color with Sunrise, a ribbed two-color texture and Sunsation, a large-scale plaid.”
This style also comes in the following colors:
1400 Melody (Shown on stairs in this listing)
1450 Morning Sky
1200 Summertime
5100 Rainbow
5200 Day Lily
1800 Bouquet
1100 Sweet Breeze
1300 French Garden
IMPORTANT: If you want a color other than the main listing, you can look for it in our other listings or order it here, but be sure to include a message with your order or send a separate message (to orders@truebullnose.com) to let us know!
Here is how we do it:
We start with this awesome 100% New Zealand Wool carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the boarders and then permanently attach our rigid edge.
The standard size is made for a 10″ deep tread 24″ wide, but you can upgrade to 27″ wide, 31″ wide or 35″ wide — or we can make any custom size you may need! As shown in our Shop and in the last two pics (of a different style), the stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so that when installed it will stay nicely wrapped around your stair tread. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that your tread will stay wrapped around the end of your stair tread. Not these. treads have a pressure sensitive material that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
