This listing is for a set of 12 treads made to fit stairs which are at least 27″ wide and 10″ deep.

These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 27″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ Deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – no need to wrap the tape measure around, because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.
This carpet Style is called Broadway and the color is Cats. It is a mix of dark brown and gray yarns. We begin with Shaw’s high quality carpet which it intends to last for 15 years. This is because they use PET for the carpet yarn, not the cheaper olefin/polypropylene-type yarns. We start with this awesome Green Label Plus Certified carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the boarders, permanently attach our True Bullnose™ rigid edge, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation.

As shown in our Shop, the True Bullnose® stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so when installed, it will stay nicely wrapped around your stairs. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope the tread will stay wrapped around the end of the stairs. Not these. True Bullnose® treads have a pressure sensitive material that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
