This listing is for a set of 12 True Flat™ (not bullnosed – no wrap around the face/front edge of the step) stair treads made with Nourison Morocco Quarry Grey. Each tread is 24″ Wide and 9″ Deep. (Treads lay flat on stairs there is no front wraparound on the edge of the stair.)
Part of our premium wool collection of TrueFlat™ padded carpet stair treads! An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation. The style is 100% Wool, not the cheaper olefin/polypropylene-type yarns.
These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 24″ wide (and 9” deep) and they fit the standard 10″ deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step.
Here is how we do it:
We start with this awesome 100% New Zealand Wool carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. (Padding is now recommended by every carpet manufacturer. It improves the comfort, performance and life of the carpet. We use a 100% post-consumer padding and the best part is we include it at no additional cost!)

If you decide to order additional stair treads, please note that we are not able to guarantee that orders placed at different times will be produced from the same dye lot. Due to the nature of textile production, both carpet color and binding color can vary from one dye lot to the next. Typically this variation is slight. We recommend placing a single order for all treads, including custom pieces, to ensure that they will all be produced from the same dye lot.
