This listing is for a set of 15 True Bullnose® stair treads made with Windsor Driftwood. Each tread is made to fit stairs which are at least 35″ Wide and 10″ Deep.
These treads are brand new. If you’re looking for a great deal on quality carpet look no further!

These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 35″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ Deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – do not wrap the tape measure around because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.
The style is called Windsor and the color is called Driftwood. It is made by J Mish who puts it best: “Windsor is a loop pile carpet tufted of heather wool yarns with an engaging, homey aesthetic. With its diamond gridded texture and dense construction, Windsor is appropriate for any and all rooms in the home, including high traffic areas. The five chameleon like colors include ivory as well as soft beige and taupe tones. Windsor exhibits a warm backdrop that will create a comfortable environment though out the entire home.”

We sell treads individually (per step) so you can order the correct number of treads to match the number of steps you have in your staircase.
Here is how we do it:
We start with this awesome 100% Wool carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the borders, permanently attach our True Bullnose® rigid edge, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. (Padding is now recommended by every carpet manufacturer. It improves the comfort, performance and life of the carpet. We use a 100% post-consumer padding and the best part is we include it at no additional cost!)
As shown in the pictures, the True Bullnose® stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so that when installed it will stay nicely wrapped around your stair tread. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that your tread will stay wrapped around the end of your stair tread. Not these. True Bullnose® treads have a pressure sensitive material that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.

If you decide to order additional stair treads, please note that we are not able to guarantee that orders placed at different times will be produced from the same dye lot. Due to the nature of textile production, both carpet color and binding color can vary from one dye lot to the next. Typically this variation is slight. We recommend placing a single order for all treads, including custom pieces, to ensure that they will all be produced from the same dye lot.
