This listing is for a set of 15 True Flat™ (not bullnosed – no wrap around the face/front edge of the step) stair treads made with Sequence Amber. Each tread is 27″ Wide and 9″ Deep. (Treads lay flat on stairs there is no front wraparound on the edge of the stair.)

This style is called Sequence and the color in this listing is called Amber. It is made by J Mish with 100% New Zealand Wool. J Mish puts it best: “Sequence has a homespun look in a variegated cut / loop stripe with a texture that seems both rugged and plush. Tufted of 100% New Zealand wool, Sequence is true to its name; its design is created by a random series of thick and thin vertical lines of color. Sequence has a color line of twelve color combinations. Some are tonal mixes; others add a contrasting color as a balance to the gradation of hues.”
These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 27″ wide (and 9” deep) and they fit the standard 10″ deep stair.
We start with this awesome 100% New Zealand Wool carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the boarders, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. (Padding is now recommended by every carpet manufacturer. It improves the comfort, performance and life of the carpet. We use a 100% post-consumer padding and the best part is we include it at no additional cost!)
