This listing is for a set of 9 True Bullnose® stair treads made with Traverse Chambray. Each tread is made to fit stairs which are at least 24″ Wide and 10″ Deep.

Part of our premium wool collection of stair treads! An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation. The beautiful carpet is Traverse, and the color is Chambray. It is 50% Wool/50% Nylon, not the cheaper olefin/polypropylene-type yarns. Bold modern colors are tempered with striated neutral tones for just the right balance in these beautifully hued Traverse Collection broadloom carpets. Tight loop pile construction from a sensational wool blend makes for remarkable durable and easy care, and a subtle silky sheen injects vibrance into any space.
These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 24″ wide and they fit the standard 10″ Deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – do not wrap the tape measure around because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.
Here is how we do it:
We start with this beautiful carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the boarders and then permanently attach our rigid edge.
As shown, the stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so that when installed it will stay nicely wrapped around your stair tread. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that your tread will stay wrapped around the end of your stair tread. Not these. True Bullnose® treads have a pressure sensitive adhesive that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
