This listing is for a set of 8 True Flat™ (not bullnosed) stair treads made with Easy Fit French Linen . Each tread is 31″ Wide and 9″ Deep. (Treads lay flat on stairs there is no front wraparound on the edge of the stair.).
Product Description
Easy Fit is a beautiful cut and loop pile carpet created by Shaw that is made to last! Made with PET, not the cheaper olefin/polypropylene-type yarns, this carpet is as durable as it is stylish. An elegant but affordable alternative to a complete professional runner installation.
Here is how we do it:
We start with this beautiful carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, and then add a soft, non-scratchy padding to the back. (Padding is now recommended by every carpet manufacturer. It improves the comfort, performance and life of the carpet. We use a 100% post-consumer padding and the best part is we include it at no additional cost!)
If you decide to order additional stair treads, please note that we are not able to guarantee that orders placed at different times will be produced from the same dye lot. Due to the nature of textile production, both carpet color and binding color can vary from one dye lot to the next. Typically this variation is slight. We recommend placing a single order for all treads, including custom pieces, to ensure that they will all be produced from the same dye lot.
