This listing is for a set of 12 Bullnosed stair treads made with Batique Wrought Iron. Each tread is made to fit stairs which are at least 31″ Wide and 9″ Deep. *** IMPORTANT NOTE: Most steps are 10″ deep – please measure!***

These are already made and ready to ship. We made them 31″ wide and they fit a 9″ Deep stair with a 1″ thick or less step. To measure your stair depth, go from the back wall to the tip of the bullnose by looking straight down at the tape measure – do not wrap the tape measure around because we already added enough carpet for the wraparound.

The style is is 100% Nylon and is durable, stain resistant, odor resistant, and pet hair resistant. These treads make clean up even easier as the high performance carpet is designed to easily release pet hair during vacuuming!
Here is how we do it:
We start with this awesome carpet, cut it down to the correct tread size, seam the borders, permanently attach our True Bullnose® rigid edge, and then add padding then nonskid to the back.
The standard size is made for a 10″ deep tread 24″ wide, but you can upgrade to 27″ wide, 31″ wide or 35″ wide — or we can make any custom size you may need! (They are all made to cover 10″ deep stairs which are 1″ thick or less with a rounded front bullnose, but can be placed on stairs that are deeper or thinner — if you need a custom cut for shallower/deeper/wider stairs or have thicker stairs with a square-face, just let us know!)
As shown, the stair tread is permanently attached to a rigid bullnose piece so that when installed it will stay nicely wrapped around your stair tread. Other manufacturers use combinations of tape or glue, and hope that your tread will stay wrapped around the end of your stair tread. Not these. treads have a pressure sensitive adhesive that keeps the tread in place and a strong, rigid bullnose edge that keeps the wrap-around in place.
